Woytowich, Walter at 100 years of age, passed away peacefully on May 6th, at Caressant Care in Cobden.
Beloved son of the late Steven and Catherine Woytowich (nee Fadiash) and brother of Orville and dear friend of the late Mary Walker, besides many friends, he leaves behind great- nieces and a great nephew. Along with a long career at AECL , Walter kept busy as the town’s favourite guy for supplying and installing appliances. With a gift for all things mechanical or electrical he had a special talent for repairs and his inventions brought him to Japan for the manufacturing production of his prototypes. Walter was happiest when tinkering in his shop or telling stories of Deep River, and did so until his final days.
In memory of Walter, donations to the Deep River and District Health- Closer to Home campaign would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River.
